Our founder began looking for developers to build an app in early 2023 and was having difficulty managing assignment and collection of submitted interview tasks. Using Excel spreadsheets was error prone.

Each candidate request for a deadline extension and the submission of a reviewer's task evaluation had to be manually recorded. Candidates received manual reminders to submit their work via chat. This manual process took time away from building relationships.

When examining mainstream job search portals and other recruiting tools, she found they did not have a simple system for reminding candidates to complete tasks, or a section where their task could be evaluated. That’s how Taskphin was born.
